Why non-verified venues hold back live performance royalties
Rooms that never file with ASCAP OnStage or BMI Live do not create an automatic set report. Without a venue, a time window, and a song sequence, the performance cannot be matched, and the royalty stays in the unallocated pool.
How HEVI acts as certified publisher shield against venue blacklisting
HEVI files the set as the publisher of record. The venue sees a publisher log, not a performer complaint, so a missing cue sheet does not push the room onto a blacklist.
How delegate access lets manager/DJ/friend log sets mid-show
Issue a 4 to 8 digit PIN before doors. A manager, DJ, or friend enters that PIN with the set and writes the sequence while the show is live. You review the log after.
